What if my client goes to Stelys without crediting me?
First partner to introduce a new client gets credit for 90 days. Email or text us their info as soon as you mention us — that locks it in. After 90 days the credit window closes.
Do I have to sign a contract?
One page, signed via DocuSign. No exclusivity. No minimums. No penalty if you never refer anyone. You can stop at any time — referrals already in the pipeline still pay out.
Do I have to install the units?
No. If you install, you keep the full $500 install fee on top of the $300 referral. If you don't, we send our installer and you still get the $300. Pick per job — there's no commitment either way.
What if the unit fails after install?
We handle it. 5-year structural warranty, 2-year electronics. Filter swaps and service calls during the customer's 24-month installment term are on us. You're not on the hook for warranty or service.
Do I need to stock units or pay anything up front?
No. Zero inventory. Zero capital. We ship the unit directly to the install address when the customer signs. No fees to join the program — it's free for licensed Canadian plumbers and mechanical contractors.
When do I get paid, exactly?
Install fee on install day (paid by Stelys or collected from the customer directly — your choice). Referral commission is e-transferred 30 days after install. T4A is issued at year-end if you earn over $500 across the year (CRA requirement).
